《Introduction of wire|Limited production Arapawa yarn of new brand Stone Wool"
It's been a while since Stone Wool arrived, and I haven't had time to introduce a few beautiful and luminous wires from this collaboration....
After thinking for a long time, let's pick this limited-production Arapawa to talk about
Arapawa yarn, from the Arpawa sheep breed - with a domineering appearance with large curly horns!
Such a handsome sheep unexpectedly has a fluffy, soft, and somewhat dry "salt" feel (self-madeGenerally dry wires will make people feel rougher and lighter, but Arapawa is unexpectedly soft and fluffy (not like the silky feeling of ultra-washed wire).
Arapawa, native to an island of the same name off the coast of New Zealand, is a sheep breed associated with Merino wool that is said to have evolved into a hardy wild breed long ago abandoned by a whaling vessel.
Born with rich coat shades such as brown, black, grey and cream white, Stone Wool uses Arapawa's natural coat color directly to spun undyed, warm brown tweed filament.
There is no extra dyeing, and the calm dark color is dotted with just the right white tweed, which shows the unique temperament of Arapawa, like the texture of high-grade wool, which is also what I unexpectedly liked when I received this wire!
Without the need for complicated weaving patterns, Eri さん reinterprets the original Haiyuki Sweater's design with Arapawa, and uses a simple lachlan sweater to set off Arapawa's temperament, which is the most suitable choice!
