In the spring of 2022, Raincloud & Sage launched a natural and non-dyed yarn made from a blend of German merino and several local sheep breedsさん。
Eriさん also loved this set of simple wires full of strong sheep's flavor, fluffy and light, and natural and unstained, and after back and forth, we decided to design a "simple but not simple" piece for this set of wires as a commemoration of the 1st anniversary of our collaboration!
Under Eri's ingenuity, Sophie's Sweater was born soon, and even after Eri's Instagram post was posted, it got more than expected responses, and even Eri's own was shocked!
At first, before the name of this piece, many weavers referred to it as "Sophie's sweater", and finally Eri laughed and said that the name of this weave is directly called Sophie's Sweater!
Sophie's sweater is a maxi lachlan top knitted from top to bottom, starting with Yuk, separating the sleeves from the body to the armpits, and then picking needles from the sleeve hole to loop the sleeves from top to bottom.
Simple and versatile clothing shape, classic does not fade from fashion, the body has many cute small details and popular elements, and can even be made into a variety of embroidery decorations according to personal preferences and creativity, into a unique piece of clothing!

"This group of wires is "undyed", and the wool is only basically carded, that is, spun into a twistless thread that is as soft as wool strips, thus retaining the rich natural lanolin, lanolin. Therefore, when weaving, it will be full of strong sheep smell, like holding a lamb, and when the water is set, the mutton fat will be washed out in large quantities, so the color of the shaping water will become darker, and it is easy to be mistaken for dyeing, please pay special attention!
Since the twistless thread is a thin wool strip that has not been twisted, it is difficult to weave, so please consider the characteristics of the wire before purchasing.
