Fonty|FADO・French Portuguese Eco-Merino
FADO・ French Portuguese Ecomerino is a 100% eco-merino wool yarn made of untreated, undyed, coarse-spun from two endemic varieties, "Mérinos d'Arles" and "Portuguese Merino".
Arles Merino, from the plains of Provence, with pure white coat, and Portuguese Merino sheep in dark brown and black, mixed in different proportions, coarsely combed and spun into a series of tweed-like earthy color threads, fluffy and elastic; This type of natural wool thread will become softer and softer after washing.
In addition to sourcing wool from origin, Fonty is also working with the Lainamac Association to raise these 2 varieties of Merino on Creuse's farms to reduce the impact of the carbon footprint.
